Intelligent use of your battery: how to keep it in perfect condition for longer?
- First charge? Your battery doesn't need to be fully charged. Make sure it's sufficiently charged, but don't leave it plugged in any longer than necessary.
- Never let the battery run down completely. Ideally, keep the charge between 20% and 80% for optimum longevity.
- Charge your battery at room temperature (10-30°C) and always keep it in a dry place.
- Only use the original charger supplied with your bike. Other chargers may have too high a current and cause damage.
- Be sparing with fast chargers. Use them only when really necessary. Charging too often puts a strain on your battery, reducing its capacity more quickly.
